Romans 15: 12-13

And again, Isaiah says, “The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; the Gentiles will hope in him.” May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

In Romans 15, Paul teaches that we should accept one another as Christ accepted us, that then God would be glorified. He reminds us that Christ came as a servant to the Jews and for the Gentiles just as Isaiah had prophesied. And we are to have his attitude of love towards others.

Jesus is our hope and we can rest in the joy and peace that he brings.
